ALM

Unique and mobile
Whether on the customer site or in your own workshop, the ALM offers you the greatest possible flexibility for welding. It is ready to operate in minutes. The arm is brought quickly to the spot to be welded and it is fixed into working position using hydraulic brakes. The laser is air-cooled, requires thus no extra cooling unit. Our optional turn-and-tilt objective allows for unconstrained working, even in difficult work piece spots. With this objective, it is possible to steer the laser beam continuously from the vertical up to an angle of 40°, within the entire 360° swivel range, reaching spots that would otherwise be difficult to get to. All the while you remain in a comfortable and ergonomic working position.

Areas Of Use:
The ALM is particularly useful for welding work on large molds and tools, casings and machine parts, everywhere in fact where mobility is necessary

ALFlak Max

Longer – further – higher

To conceive the ALFlak Max, we have combined the advantages of the ALM with the ALFlak. The result: an ergonomic laser system which can be driven easily and fast to the work pieces and this with millimeter accuracy. Thanks to its highly movable but stable arm and its slim turn and tilt objective, the ALFlak Max can reach almost every welding spot. The system is available in two different versions: the first version is equipped with caterpillars to allow an ease of movement while the second version is adapted for a forklift or pallet truck transport.  We recommend this laser welding system especially if you are working on very big molds. Our laser welding device ALFlak Max has a particularly long but stable laser arm that allows you to have a range of almost 2,80 m. The highest operating point is 2 m and the deepest at 80 cm.

AL

Compact with high-power performance
The AL-Series of devices can be put to universal use in existing machining processes or, with suitable application fittings, be used for manual welding. For a professional solution, the AL can be combined with our NC-guided Laser workbench AL-T. For each desired operation, we offer the required power class, ranging from 75 W to 500 W. Our CPC technology (Constant Power Control) hinders over powerful pulsing at the beginning of operations and allows the laser energy to be bound more efficiently into the material. An assortment of diverse laser objectives helps localize the laser beam at the spot you want to have it.

Areas of use:
The lasers of the AL series can be used, for example, for repair welding on tools and molds, in the manufacture of medical-technical components and sensors, in precision technology, in sheet metal processing, and for repairs in mechanical engineering.

AL-Rock

The Mobile Hardening Robot – For Laser Hardening and More

The AL- ROCK is the world’s first mobile robot for targeted laser hardening of metal surfaces. No more time-consuming dismounting of heavy components – Simply drive the laser with its self-propelled crawling chassis directly to the part to be hardened. On site, the flexible, wide sweeping robot arm easily reaches even challenging work pieces. In free 3D movements, the laser beam precisely follows even the most demanding three-dimensional work piece contours. The only thing the laser needs is free access to the work piece surface to be treated. Laser hardening results in an extremely fine-grained and tough structure, therefore the hardened material is extremely cracking resistant. With laser hardening, the same hardness results can be achieved as with conventional hardening processes. All common metals can be hardened, for example, tempered steels, structural steels, cold work steels and cast steel as well as various types  of grey cast iron like graphite cast iron with lamellar or spheroidal graphite (with at least 80 % pearlite). And the AL ROCK can do even more – Upon request, you can also use the laser robot for laser welding.
